Bio:
I'm a full time professional photographer and graphic artist. I strive to always keep my eyes and my mind open to the beautiful ever-changing environment around me. I’m an avid hiker, mountain biker and kayaker, and there are so many beautiful places to explore in the Northwest all across the country. I’m more than willing to work at any location you choose, outside or in, mountains or ocean. A church, a community center, a backyard, a beach, there are limitless location options for a celebration and I'm prepared for them all. My passport is current, not every story starts and ends in the same country. I'm always ready to help you plan and document any type of event or celebration. I pride myself in being both creative and highly technical. I devote a large amount of time and money each year to learning and growing as an artist. Both in terms of creative vision and also in terms of the technical craft of photography. I have an all digital workflow using both Canon and Nikon professional cameras, Macintosh computers and various lighting equipment. I carefully build redundancy into my working collection of equipment so that no technical malfunction will prevent me from capturing the best images possible. Knowing exactly how each piece of equipment works and why as well as what to do if something breaks during a job is critical for any photographer accepting professional commissions, but especially for a wedding photographer!
Services:
Weddings: My pricing and options are tailored to meet the different needs and budgets of my clients. Wedding packages range from $1800 to $3500. I don't limit the amount of time I spent taking pictures on your wedding day, I start when you start and finish when you do! I also never do more than one wedding per day, I think it's important for the photographer to be committed and available for as much time as it takes to capture the whole story.
Images are available in several formats including: storybook albums, matted, framed, loose prints, DVD shows with music, JPG files on CD or DVD.
Events: Birthdays and other events have packages starting at $495. Each of my clients is unique and every package is customized, call for a free personal quote.
Portraits: Seniors, families, newborns, groups... I provide high quality fun on-location portrait services. Commissions start at $150 and many packages and options are available.
Sports: Action, emotion, determination, struggle... Sports photography is awesome. I don't charge a shooting fee to shoot sporting events in the Olympia Area (and beyond). I do it for the fun and the chance to network with the players, parents and spectators. If you have an event you'd love great pictures of, send me an email and I'll check my schedule...
