[fam-uh-lee, fam-lee] noun, A dynamic, amazing and ever changing group of people who love each other. (I didn’t lift that from the dictionary, It’s how I define the concept of family)
You might think you’re family is a challenge to photograph because of some crazy combination of kids, dogs, hamsters, etc… well, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
My goal at every family portrait session is to capture the story and the essence of each family member and how they interact. Most of my family portrait clients become repeat customers and each time I photograph them the results are better than the time before because I know them that much better.
Session Location: Sessions take place at your house or the location of your choice - someplace that’s special to you or maybe someplace that’s a treat for the kids (or dogs..). Someplace where you can relax and have fun.
Having some amazing images of your family once or twice a year might seem extravagant but I think it’s money well spent, and I bet you will too, now, and even more so in years to come. I think anytime is a good time, but if you need a reason to schedule a family session here are a few:
- Maternity (yay! you’re pregant!)
- Newborn (yay! you’re not pregnant anymore!),
- Your kids are young (they won’t stay that way),
- Your parents are in town and you’ve got 3 or more generations all in one place,
- It’s Fall and and the leaves are falling and you need an image for your Holiday Card.
- It’s spring and you’ve got a new puppy.
- You get the idea…
