Jesse
I spent most of the last week in Las Vegas at the WPPI’s yearly convention. Lots of classes, trade show browsing and hanging out with the best wedding and portrait photographers in the world. In other words, FUN.
The convention ended Wednesday and on Thursday I had the opportunity to shoot some portraits with some amazing and fun photographers and models. I especially enjoyed working with Jesse, a California native relocated to Las Vegas. We only had a few minutes to create these before we had to head back to town.
These shots were all created in the desert outside of Vegas using bright mid-day sun and my little portable off camera strobe:

I had such a great time at WPPI and at the shoot on Thursday, I can’t wait till next year!

These are awesome shots! I had a blast in Vegas, I wish I could have made this shoot
Hey Bill, it was great meeting you. Love the shots!
Bill, these are great! It’s crazy, I didn’t even get to shoot this model! There was so much going on! She looks amazing in these.
bill, awesome just awesome images!
That first one is just gorgeous Bill, and love the B+W one as well! Glad you got to go and have an awesome time!
Bill,
These are beautiful, I really love the first one and the tree shot; I wish I could have made it to WPPI; next year for sure.

Freaking awesome Bill! Great shots… I never even saw that model! I should seriously consider a portable setup like you’ve got…
Wow, check out all the comments! Thanks Melissa, Mark, Erin, David, Mike, Melissa O and Gerald!!
And, ya, Gerald, I would recommend against it. Off camera light is a hassle and the results are always bad, better to avoid it. (j/k)
I love these images Bill!! GReat job!
I really dig the second one. You really captured her personality. And that last one is so inviting.
Right on!!!
