Ridge 2 River


Pat King and I fielded a Men's Tandem team in todays Ridge to River race in Wenatchee. It was a blast!

Here are several pictures my friend Dave took of us, followed by 3 that I took of Pat at the transition from Running to Biking....

Pat getting ready and then on the Bike. Pat's run was 4.5 miles followed by a 19 mile bike ride, he says he hit 50mph on the downhill part:




Pat and I getting me into the water for the Kayak leg, 4 miles down the Wenatchee river, with a few class 2 rapids and then 4 miles of flat paddling in the Columbia River:





And then Pat and Dave drove down to meet me at the boat dock in downtown Wenatchee, where we had to run about a half a mile to the finish line:
