Wed - November 28, 2007Stick a fork in it - It's doneThis blog has served me well for almost 2 years
and it's time to upgrade. Please click here to be
redirected:
Go to the new blog The new blog is powered by Wordpress and is much
more flexible as well as being easier and faster for me to keep updated. I'll
also be able to embed video clips and have ad free comments (that really annoyed
me about this one, having ads on my comment pages, bleh!). All of that will
translate into a much better experience for both of us. For those of you that
keep track of me with an RSS reader or service, the options just got a lot
better too, you'll have to go to the new blog and re-subscribe, but you'll be
able to choose all entries, all comments or subscribe by individual categories.
Pretty cool, huh? I think so. This blog and it's entries will hang around for
your amusement and mine for the foreseebable future, so links to here (like the
ones on my custom wedding pages) will keep
working.
See you at the new blog! ~Bill Posted at 09:12 PM Sun - November 11, 2007Beth + Phil: The weddingI had the pleasure to photograph Beth and Phil's
wedding Saturday. With a fun and relaxed group of friends and family they were
married at the Lake Union Crew House in North Seattle. The
weather was unseasonably perfect for a November wedding in the NW. One of their
best friends became ordained to perform the ceremony and Sean , my fellow photographer, dubbed him 'Friar
Todd', it was fitting. :-) The wonderful food (really wonderful) was provided
by Seasoned in
Seattle.
Here are a few of my favorite images from the night. :-) ![]() They planned their portraits for just after sunset, a time when the sky and the Seattle skyline are beautiful. But the fact is these two showed so much love they could have been anywhere and anytime and it would have been easy to get great portraits of them together. :-) ![]() ![]() Above: The recently ordained Friar Todd ![]() ![]() Above: The toasts were moving and plentiful ![]() Thanks you two, I had a wonderful time at your wedding and I wish you a long and beautiful life together. :-) ~Bill Posted at 08:40 AM Mon - October 29, 2007Senior: HilaryMy fall schedule for senior portraits is winding
down, but it's been fun! Here are a few images of Hilary, a Rainier High School
class of 2008 senior, she brought her mom and little brother with her and we all
had a blast. :-)
It was a beautiful fall day and we had a great sunset on the beach! ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for looking! ~Bill Posted at 07:45 AM Wed - October 24, 2007Giselle + Jeff: The WeddingThe smallest most intimate wedding I've been to,
Jeff and Giselle celebrated in high style with their closest friends. It was
beautiful!! :-)
I started the day with Giselle and her friend
Fatima at Fatima's house in West Seattle. What a perfect place, the natural
light in their house is amazing. The ceremony, reception and dinner were at
Canlis
Restaurant in North
Seattle.
I had a wonderful time, I hope I see everyone there again! :-) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() :~) ~Bill Posted at 12:43 PM Mon - October 22, 2007Creative Suite 3The fedex man just brought me a couple packages,
one of which has my software updates for all the Adobe products I use every day.
It's a little like Christmas! Before I tore into the package I set it on some
white seamless and did my best impression of a product

![]() OK now I'm going to Posted at 11:51 AM Sun - October 21, 2007Meagan + EmmanuelMeagan and Emmanuel had beautiful fall weather
for there wedding last weekend in Renton. Meagan met Emmanuel when she was
doing Peace Corp work in Africa. It was an uphill battle to get the paperwork
in place for Emmanuel to be able to come to the US and be married. I was very
pleased to be the photographer at this celebration, it was, in many ways, a
triumph for this wonderful couple and their family and
friends.

getting done than I am getting done... I haven't been blogging much at all the
last month or so because I've been super busy! But I'm going to be posting a
lot over the next few days since there are tons of cool jobs I've got that no
one has seen... ;-)
And... One cool thing that we've ben working on
lately is the new windows in the house. Here are a couple shots... Exciting
stuff (for me at
least!).

he and his family live on a beautiful farm near the Skokomish River. He got
permission from a landowner with property on the river banks to drive his Jeep
down to the river for part of the session. Tons of fun and a cool place to
shoot too!
